A stunning documentary film about the war in the Pacific, composed of Allied and Japanese newsreel footage. Proof is introduced that the US received warnings of impending Japanese aggression in 1941. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, war is declared and Japan makes many conquests. Then the Americans begin retaking bases and the tide turns. The Japanese resort to the use of Kamikaze pilots to crash-dive at US ships. The atom bomb leads to a forced surrender.
