A fascinating detailed account of the step-by-step operations of three bombing missions in October 9, 1943 by the US 8th Air Force. This film shows the complete AAF raid from planning to execution. B-17 and B-24 bombers flew deep into Germany in a raid with three targets: Anklam, Marienburg and Gdynia in Poland. The details of men, planes, briefings, paperwork planning and preparation made a successful heavy bomber raid possible. All footage was photographed on location featuring actual 8th Air Force personnel.
