Nova Scotia International Tattoo
- 1995 (Military Tattoo)
A breathtaking musical spectacle of pomp, pageantry, energy and spirit featuring over 2,000 military and civilian performers from seven countries. The Nova Scotia International Tattoo is one of the World's largest indoor shows and is recognized as one of the foremost events of its kind anywhere. The 17th annual Tattoo, presented during the first week of July 1995, was the largest show yet. In addition to the Tattoo's annual Bond of Friendship theme, the 1995 show commemorated the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II as well as the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. The Tattoo includes music that varies from military and classical to folk, jazz, nostalgia, popular favorites and the precision of military competitions and displays. You will see and hear the 2nd Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment Pipe and Drum Band; Denmark's Copenhagen Police Band; Germany's Lufwaffenmusikkorps 4 Band; Scotland's Queen Victoria School Pipes and Drums and Dancers; the US Quantico Marine Corps Band and US Army Drill Team; Holland's Julian Bicycle Team.
