Great Military Parades of The Third Reich:
Events of Time in Color (Photo Book)
(Die Grossen Militarparaden des Dritten Reiches:
Zeitgeschichte In Bildern)
Werner Landhoff .
Though a long and time-honored tradition in German and Prussian history, military parades reached their pinnacle during the Third Reich, both as demonstrations of power and majesty and as an open and direct slap in the face to the Versailles Treaty. This new photo album shows the military parades in Germany as they have never before been seen. While most of the ninety-seven black-and-white photographs are full-page or gatefold (i.e. take up two full pages), twenty-three of the thirty full-color photos are gate-fold, with five being full-page. The result is nothing less than a visual military spectacular. Hardbound, 160 pages, 127 B&W & COLOR photos, 8.5 x 12 inches size, German text with English photo caption summary enclosure.
