This excellent collection includes Hitler's 53rd birthday celebrations, the Luftwaffe bombing Malta, Axis troops occupying Suursaari Island in the Gulf of Finland, Gen. Franco reviewing a parade in Madrid, a pair of Hitler-Mussolini summit conferences, German cavalry fighting mud in the rain drenched USSR, fighting Red Partisans in the Crimea, U-boat action in the Atlantic, and Ju-52s ferrying supplies on the Eastern Front.

The viewer also sees Murmansk Front combat action, the capture of the embattled Kerch Peninsula, Hitler's meeting in Finland with Marshal Mannerheim, Red Army attacks near Kharkov, a trio of Soviet armies surrounded, and 250,000 Reds surrendering.

In addition, we view funeral services in occupied Prague for assassinated SS Gen. Reinhard Heydrich, the capture of Bir Hacheim by the Afrika Korps, Axis troops surrounding besieged Sevastopol, and fierce fighting along the Gazala Line in North Africa.

We witness, too, the Axis assault on the British held port fortress of Tobruk and its surrender, German advance guards reaching Sevastopol on the Black Sea, the Soviets failing to relieve besieged Leningrad, and the fall of Mersa Matruh to Rommel.
