In this top-drawer package, the viewer watches the fall of the Soviet fortress of Sevastopol on the Black Sea, the crossing of the Don River, and the capture of Rostov, as well as the Afrika Korps' advance into British Egypt, the Battle of Stalingrad, German mountain troops scaling Mt. Elbrus in the Russian Caucasus, and Atlantic and Channel coast naval defenses.

We also see a failed British landing attempt to retake fallen Tobruk, the aerial bombing of the Egyptian port of Alexandria, Imperial Japanese Navy subs at a German naval base, and Rommel reporting in person to Hitler, plus furious fighting south of Lake Ladoga, daily life on the Eastern Front, and Waffen/Armed SS units in combat action on the Lake Ilmen Front.

In addition, there are scenes of Stalingrad street fighting, farm achievements on the Nazi home front, Germanic volunteers in assaults in the Caucausus, and the defense of El Alamein, plus Leningrad siege action, and Royal Navy torpedo boats attacking convoys.

There is also combat footage of the Axis buildup in Tunisia for the final North African battles, fighting in the Upper Don River area in the Soviet Union, and Red Army tanks.
