It was in 1917 that the first American soldiers were buried in military cemeteries in Europe. Then came World War 2, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Retired General Mark Clark, head of the National Monuments Commission, talks about the work of the commission in maintaining the war graves. USA, 1974, Color, 25 minutes.
