Hitler's Berghof 1928 - 1945 (Daily Activities In Color) (Photo Book) Walter Frentz

During WWII, Walter Frentz was a young German High Command staff photographer, best known for his camera work on Leni Reifenstahlís groundbreaking film Triumph of the Will, in which new cinematic techniques made their debut. For the first time since the discovery of his negatives, nearly 50 years after the war, over 100 previously unpublished, amazing-quality color photographs have been assembled in a book portraying a never-before-seen, intimate view of Hitler and his entourage. Full-page and gate-fold images comprise over half the photos of almost every imaginable related subject at Hitlerís personal home and headquarters nestled in the mountains of Southern Bavaria. The unsurpassed superiority of Agfachrome and German optics is evident on nearly every page, as Frentz experimented with color photography on the subjects around him. Hardbound, 160 pages, over 100 color photos, 8.5" x 12" size, German text with English photo caption summary enclosure.
