This famous World War II documentary film directed and narrated by John Huston, which covers the fierce battle for Italy's Liri Valley, is considered one of the strongest indictments of war ever made. The Pentagon tried to suppress its release, but General George Marshall prevailed and we now have probably one of the best American documentaries from the War.
