Winner of the Academy Award for the best documentary short subject of 1946, Seeds of Destiny portrays the plight of the millions of children who were left at the end of World War II without food, clothing or shelter. Under the sponsorship of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, a team of Signal Corps cameramen were sent to 14 countries to film children in bombed-out cities, refugee camps and other locations.
