Kennedy In Texas DVD
Original television footage and news reports are used to document the events surrounding President John F. Kennedy's assassination. Film of the enthusiastic receptions Kennedy received in San Antonio and Forth Worth during the 24 hours preceding the assassination provides important context for film of the Dallas motorcade. Interviews with eyewitnesses (including Governor Connally), the head of the emergency room at Parkland Hospital and the priest who administered last rites provide a dramatic record of Kennedy's final moments. News reports on events which followed the assassination--the swearing in of President Johnson, the capture of Lee Harvey Oswald and his subsequent murder by Jack Ruby (recorded live by two cameras)--complete the record of this American tragedy.
