Product Description
This film depicts the true story of USN Radioman George Tweed, who hid from the Japanese from December 1941 to July 1944 on the island of Guam with the aid of loyal Guamanians. During the invasion of Guam he was rescued by the US Navy. The story is told of the cruel occupation of Guam by the Japanese, and Tweed talks about his experiences while in hiding and reenacts his rescue for the camera crew. Some of the reenactments are not historically correct in certain details. He later had an article written about his adventures.
