The Smashing Of The Reich DVD

This program examines the destruction of the Nazi war machine with a particular emphasis on air power. Highlights include the landing at Normandy Beach, the Battle for Paris, the battering of Bastogne and the assault at the Elbe River. Also shown are the bombing of German industrial centers, the liberation of Paris and the freeing of concentration-camp survivors. This film was released as a feature film along with Kamikaze, in 1961.
