The 30th Infantry Division DVD

Part of the Blue Badge of Infantry Series from The Big Picture weekly TV show produced at the height of the Korean War, it extolls the power of the US Army and also acts as a recruiting tool by depicting the combat record of the US 30th Infantry Division in WWII. Old Hickory fights at St. Lo and Mortain in France in 1944, were the first Americans to enter Belgium, helped break through the Siegfried Line, and took part in the first battle on German soil. After action in the Ruhr, it captured Brunswick and Magdeburg in 1945.
