Circus Day in Our Town DVD
Product Description
Long before the explosion in television, movies, and computers, the circus was the king of entertainment in many small towns. This upbeat film from 1949 heralds the arrival of a traveling circus by train and how the locals turn out to watch, and even participate in, the erecting of the massive “big top”. A classic three-ring circus – complete with clowns, galloping horses, lumbering elephants and nimble acrobats leaves the crowd gasping... and cheering for more. USA, 1949, B&W, 16 minutes.
