On September 16, 1963 George Harrison traveled to America to visit his sister, Louise Harrison Caldwell, in Benton, Illinois. This documentary chronicals the historic visit by George Harrison; He performed with a local band, spoke with a teenaged DJ, who spun the first Beatles records on the American airwaves, and bought his first Rickenbacker guitar. On February 4, 1995, efforts began to save the Caldwell-Harrison home in Benton, IL from demolition for a state parking lot. This 60th Anniversary DVD contains even more footage from that effort, and other interviews with those involved.
