11 German Newsreels with English Subtitles: Dec. 10, 1942-June 9, 1943

This edition covers the turning points of the war, both in North Africa and on the mighty Eastern Front. We also see Japanese victories on the Pacific Ocean fronts, German Propaganda Minister Dr. Josef Gobbels addressing Nazi Party leaders, and Christmas celebrations in North Africa, Lapland, and the Soviet Caucasus.

We also see Germans battling Free French troops in Tunisia, winter battles around Leningrad, U-boat combat patrols in the South Atlantic, wintry daily life in the USSR, and Dr. Gobbels' famous Total War speech at the Berlin Sports Palace.

In addition, there are views of Rommel reviewing Gabes Line defensive posts, German retreats on the Eastern Front, fighting Red Partisans in Russia, Hitler's Heroes' Memorial Day speech in Berlin, fighting on Crete against guerillas, and the start up of the Battle of Kharkov.

There is also a Hitler meeting with Mussolini, U-boat patrols in the Caribbean Sea, the infamous Katyn Forest expose of the Russian NKVD by the Germans (finally admitted in the 1990s), Tunisian mountain combat, and German Cossack regiments on the march.

Finally, we view Kuban Bridgehead fighting and Hitler Youth SS volunteers.
