In this superlative collection of weekly wartime Nazi newsreels, we see the State Funeral of Luftwaffe Stuka expert Gen. Next we witness the winter war in Karelia, U-boats off New York City, Japanese operations in the Pacific, Sevastopol encircled by the Germans and Romanians, and the Luftwaffe bombing Malta's naval base of Port Valetta.
There are also scenes of winter warfare in Russia's Donets Basin, Armed Forces Day celebrated in Berlin, the daring British naval raid on the German-held French port of St. Nazaire, a German sea raider deployed on the Indian Ocean, and the advance into the Kerch Peninsula in the Crimea.
